<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a position estimation part 4b of a radar device 1 to precisely estimate the relative movement position of an obstacle (stationary object) with respect to an own vehicle when estimating the relative movement position on the basis of a shift amount of the obstacle from a travel road centerline calculated at the point when the obstacle is detected. <P>SOLUTION: When estimating the relative movement position of the obstacle with respect to the own vehicle, the shift amount calculated at the point when the obstacle is detected by the radar device 1 is corrected on the basis of a turn radius detected at a time point after the lapse of a prescribed time since the obstacle is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
