<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image quality defects from being generated by suppressing a deflection in a pixel operating position when an image processing is applied for compensating a magnification gap for an image for which a screen treatment has already been applied. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with an image compensating section 34 which inserts or eliminates pixels to an image based on a compensation value for correcting a registration gap of the image. The image compensating section 34 determines a specified interested region including a pixel operation position which is the position of pixels being inserted or eliminated, and calculates a color ratio which is a ratio between color pixels and colorless pixels in the view region. The image compensating section 34 determines the kinds of operating pixels which are objectives for the insertion or the elimination based on the color ratio, and performs the insertion or the elimination of the operating pixels to the interested region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
