PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for easily and surely executing an operation required for selection of a page to which a processing function is applied, and to provide its control method and a control program.

SOLUTION: The control method for controlling the image forming apparatus comprises: a first display step for displaying a document icon related to a prescribed page of image data on an operation screen (step S102); a second display step for displaying an application icon related to a processing function applicable to the page on the operation screen (step S103); a first selection step for selecting a processing function related to the designated application icon when the application icon is designated; a second selection step for selecting a page related to a designated document icon when the document icon is designated; and a first application step for applying the processing function selected in the first selection step to the page selected in the second selection step.
