<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately restore control states of respective control means by a simple restoration control in restarting a game in occurrence of an unexpected power shutoff such as a power failure. <P>SOLUTION: When a power failure occurs while symbols are variably displayed and then is restored, a CPU of a main board sends a command indicating stationary symbols and an error display command to a display control board. A display control CPU of the display control board executes an error display on a variable display part. When the variation time is finished and receiving a settlement command from the main board, the display command CPU of the display control board displays the stationary symbols.
