PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor or the like which achieves a highly accurate and simple color coordinate conversion, is operated at high speed and has a low storage capacity. SOLUTION: The processor is provided with a storage portion 104 to hold a characteristic data, a prediction output value calculating portion to calculate prediction PCS values (X<SB>P</SB>, Y<SB>P</SB>, Z<SB>P</SB>) in a prescribed designated-color space, an error calculating portion to calculate the error from a difference between PCS values (X, Y, Z) and the prediction PCS values, a differential factor matrix preparing portion to prepare the differential factor matrix, a reverse matrix operating portion, a primary color intensity correction quantity calculating portion to calculate a corrected primary color intensity by primary-converting the difference between the PCS values and the prediction PCS values regarding the reverse matrix as a conversion matrix, and a primary color intensity correcting portion to calculate an output primary color intensity by adding or subtracting the corrected primary color intensity calculated by the primary color intensity correction quantity calculating portion as interim primary color intensities (IR, IG, IB).
