SPEAKER AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower profile concerning a low profile speaker and an electronic apparatus using the speaker. SOLUTION: The speaker includes: plate-like magnets 7, 12 arranged in a horizontal or a substantially horizontal direction via a magnetic gap; a voice coil 10 arranged in the magnetic gap so as to be freely movable; and a diaphragm 9 connected to the voice coil 10. The plate-like magnet 12 includes a magnetic pole at the end of the plate. The plate-like magnet 7 includes the magnetic poles at both the ends in the thickness direction. A magnetic flux is substantially orthogonally crossed with the voice coil part 10 in the magnetic gap. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
