TRANSFER MECHANISM AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that in a corona transfer system, long life is held in a non-contact state but contact with a recording medium in a transfer area can not be stabilized and an image may be disturbed. SOLUTION: A transfer mechanism has a main guide member for depressing an image carrier to a recording medium in a projected state and the curvature of upstream side and downstream side guide members in a carrying direction on a contact part between the image carrier and the recording medium is set smaller than the curvature of a portion of the main guide member where the image carrier is depressed.
