PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly perform up and down operation of a display panel in a stand for a display device the stand, which is configured so that a facing angle of a panel face may be changed according to lifting up and down of the display panel. SOLUTION: In the stand for display devices in which a moving base 7 for mounting the display panel 01 is supported so as to be slidable up and down through a guide rail 8 from a fixed support base, and a guide rail 8 is bent and formed so that the display panel 01 is moved backward and erected as the moving base 7 moves upward, while the display panel 01 is moved forward and tilted backward as the moving base 7 moves downward, the moving base 7 and the fixed support base are connected with a power spring, and the moving base 7 is lifted and energized by winding restoring force of the power spring, while a damping means for giving resistance to slide movement of the moving base 7 is provided, and damping force of the damping means is reduced as the moving base 7 is moved upward.
