PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for confirming the limit of the height of a vehicle easily installable even in an existing parking area at low cost in a short period and capable of instantaneously discriminating whether the height of a vehicle to be entered is within a height limit or not. SOLUTION: A light beam radiating device 23 for horizontally radiating a colored laser beam 24 at a wide angle in the other side direction of the vehicle 12 is installed on one side of the vehicle 12 stopped at a stop position at a vehicle height limiting height H. A wall surface 13b onto which the colored laser beam 24 radiated from the light beam radiating device 23 is projected onto the other side of the vehicle 12. The light beam radiating device 23 has a wide angle horizontal radiating function capable of radiating over the entire area of the vehicle 12 allowed to enter the parking area 10 in the longitudinal direction.
