Disclosed is a solar cell comprising a semiconductor substrate having a photoelectric conversion section, a first electrode (13a) formed on a first major surface of the semiconductor substrate, and a second electrode (13b) connected to the first electrode (13a) on the first major surface. The first electrode (13a) comprises a plurality of first connecting portions (51) to be connected with an interconnector (31) and a first non-connecting portion (42) which is not connect with the interconnector (31) and arranged between the first connecting portions (51) for electrically connecting them. The first connecting portions (51) and the first non-connecting portion (42) are joined together at an angle of more than 90° but less than 180°. Also disclosed are a solar cell string using such a solar cell, and a solar cell module.
