<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector in which an alignment treatment to set insulation-coated wires 10 laterally at equal spaces of a prescribed pitch is not necessary. <P>SOLUTION: A laterally long pressurizing means 30 comprises a longitudinal side part 30a which can be inserted into an aperture 16a of a plug body 16 from the upward direction, and a lateral side part 30b which continues against this in the nearly right angle direction, and is installed with grooves 30c, 30d into which the insulation-coated wires 10 can be inserted at positions corresponding to contacts 18 respectively assembled laterally arranged at the plug body 16 at tip parts of the longitudinal side part 30a and the lateral side part 30b in a state that the longitudinal side part 30a is inserted into the aperture part 16a. The insulation-coated wires 10 are inserted into the grooves 30c, 30d, positioned, and alignment treated. When the insulation-coated wires 10 are inserted into the aperture part 16a from the upward direction after the positioning by the longitudinal side parts 30a and grooves 30c, 30d, the insulation-coated wires 10 are pinched between the longitudinal side part 30a and the contacts 18, while piercing parts 18c are pierced into the insulation-coated material 10a of the insulation-coated wires 10 and penetrated to be contacted with core wires 10b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
