PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device for preventing overshooting of the output voltage to be generated in turning on power, using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The device includes a difference amplification circuit 1, a source follower circuit 2, an output transistor 3, a voltage dividing circuit 4, and an electronic switch 5. The switch 5 electrically connects an input side of the source follower circuit 2 by a prescribed time in turning on the power. That is, the switch 5 restricts an original function of the source follower circuit 2 by the prescribed time in turning on power, or delays the original function by the prescribed time, and prevents overshooting of the output voltage VOUT.
