PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a robot or the like to perform a task requesting real time performance. SOLUTION: Input networks net<SB>1</SB>and net<SB>3</SB>and an output network net<SB>2</SB>composed of a plurality of nodes having time-series pattern models expressing time-series patterns are updated like self-organization so that the connection weight of winner nodes for input data of frames at a time t of the input network net<SB>1</SB>and winner nodes for the input data of frames at a time t' delayed only by a fixed time from the time t of the input network net<SB>3</SB>can be strengthened, and so that the connection weight of winner nodes for the input data of frames at the time t' of the input network net<SB>3</SB>and winner nodes for the output data of frames at the time t' of the output network net<SB>2</SB>can be strengthened.
