PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed loop inner shroud assembly (100) for a gas turbine. SOLUTION: The closed loop inner shroud assembly (100) for a gas turbine includes a shroud body (110), a cover plate (120), an inlet (130) through the cover plate (120) to the shroud body (110), a serpentine passageway (180) through the shroud body (110), and an outlet (140) from the shroud body (110) to the cover plate (120).
