PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary ceramic ware, without dripping from a recessed step part, without making liquid falling by going along a side surface flow by going along below the recessed step part, in the sanitary ceramic ware of arranging the recessed step part on the side surface. SOLUTION: The recessed step part 3 is arranged in a lower part of the side surface of a glazed ceramic Western-style toilet bowl 1. This recessed step part 3 is composed of a projecting curved part 3a curved in a projecting shape of entering all the way into a ceiling surface of the recessed step part from the side surface 2, an inclined face 3b continuing with the projecting curved part 3a, a recessed curved surface 3c constituting a crossing corner part between the ceiling surface and the innermost wall surface of the recessed step part, and the innermost wall surface 3d. The liquid such as urine sticking to the side surface 2, flows by going along the side surface 2, and reaches the recessed step part 3. This liquid reaches the inclined face 3b by entering all the way into the projecting curved part 3a, and flows toward the recessed curved part 3c on the inclined face 3b, and is evaporated and dried during this time.
