<p>A heat exchanger and a drain pan are installed inside an indoor unit of an air conditioner, where the heat exchanger is installed using a base frame and a drain pan is installed under the heat exchanger. The base frame has first and second installation plates for installing the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger has first and second end plates forming both ends of the heat exchanger.To install the heat exchanger on the base frame, the first projection formed on the first end plate is fitted into a first hole formed in the first installation plate and the second projection formed on the second installation plate is fitted into a second hole formed in the second end plate. Also, a water receiving and guiding means for guiding condensed water, produced on the first projection, to the drain pan is provided under the first hole.</p> |
