A module-type input device, a portable terminal with the same, and a remote controller with the same are provided to detect even a very weak signal precisely by using a hole sensor as a location detection sensor and detecting an input signal according the intensity of magnetic force. A module-type input device comprises an operation body(260), a sensor chip(220), an elastic body(240), a magnetic body(250), a substrate(230), and a housing(210). The operation body(260) is capable of being manipulated in an arbitrary direction. The sensor chip(220) detects the displacement of the operation body(260). The elastic body(240) returns the operation body(260), which is at a manipulated location, to the original position. The magnetic body(250), moving together with the operation body(260), informs the sensor chip(220) of the displacement of the operation body(260). The substrate(230) has an operation switch(232) installed at a location corresponding to the operation body(260), and outputs a signal, detected by the sensor chip(220), to the external. The housing(210) accepts the operation body(260), the sensor chip(220), the magnetic body(250), and the substrate(230).
