<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide whether there is the display of a red-eye correction result according to the degree of red-eye correction processing, and to add information on the eye of an original image to the red-eye correction result. <P>SOLUTION: A red-eye correction processing system comprises: an image input; a red-eye detector for detecting red-eye included in an inputted image; a red-eye corrector for performing the red-eye correction processing to the red-eye; a degree-of-correction determination section for determining whether the degree of correction in the red-eye correction processing is larger than a preset, prescribed degree of correction; an image output for outputting an image, where the red-eye correction processing is not performed, for an image, where no red-eye is detected, and for outputting an image, where the red-eye correction processing is performed, for an image, where the red-eye is detected; and a correction result output that outputs that the red-eye correction processing has been performed on an image where the red-eye correction processing that is larger than the prescribed degree of correction, and does not correspond the execution of red-eye correction processing to the image where red-eye correction processing that is smaller than prescribed degree of correction has been performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
