摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for precisely finding a core line of a luminal organ in particular in an image display device. <P>SOLUTION: This image display device generates a plurality of binary images 3 formed by extracting the luminal organ from a tomographic image. This device sets a three-dimensional small area B using a point (x, y) on an extraction area A as the center in the binary images 3, and finds mean coordinates (xav, yav) of the luminal organ (equivalent to the extraction area A) included in the small area B. Then, this device finds a distance between the point of the means coordinates and the central point of the small area B, and when the distance is smaller than a preset distance, records the means coordinates as the coordinates of the core line.
