A structural connector system including first and second elongated tubular members each having four elongated walls defining a rectangular cross-section. The first elongated tubular member also includes two longitudinally extending channels each having a longitudinally extending cutout coextensive with the respective channel. A connector member with a rectangular block shape has two portions. One of the portions is receivable within the first and second longitudinal channels of the first elongated tubular member. The other portion is receivable within the third elongated channel of the second elongated tubular member. Fastening means are used to secure the connector member to the first and second elongated members. Additionally, decorative panels can be mounted to cooperating longitudinal troughs in the first and second elon ated tubular members.
