<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting module which can obtain a cutoff beam, and at the same time, of which the entire dimension is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting module for a headlight of an automobile is provided with a folder B having an oval type first reflector R1 and a light source S, a reflection surface, and a cutoff edge C, and a parabola type second reflector R2 for generating the cutoff beam. The folder passes a light beam ρ1 intersecting with an optical axis of the second reflector between a focal point ϕ of the second reflector and a peak 2, and generated from the first reflector, and reflects a light beam ρ3 intersecting with the optical axis of the second reflector to the focal point ϕ of the second reflector and generated from the first reflector.
