<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communication apparatus for achieving multiple MIMO transmissions exceeding the number of antennas that the communication apparatus itself or another communication apparatus comprises, by performing cooperated operation with the other communication apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A communication apparatus comprises: an A/D conversion unit (13) for converting a MIMO transmitted reception signal into a digital signal; a buffer memory unit (14) for holding the digital signal outputted by the A/D conversion unit (13); a D/A conversion unit (15) for reading the digital signal from the buffer memory unit (14) at a signal reading speed predetermined with another communication apparatus and converting the read digital signal into an analog signal; and a relay signal generating means (selector (19), relay transmission unit (20)) for storing the analog signal in a payload if the reception signal is not a signal transmitted to the present apparatus, and transmitting a signal generated by giving header information to the payload to a reception signal destination communication apparatus as a relay signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
