<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration making the entire radiation detector thin while securing necessary thickness (strength). <P>SOLUTION: In a radiation detector including an insulating substrate 1 on which a plurality of pixels including conversion elements converting radiation into an electric signal are arranged, a light source 4 for irradiating the conversion elements with light, and a light guide plate 3 for propagating the light from the light source 4 to the conversion elements, the insulating substrate 1 is disposed on a surface of a light emission side of the light guide plate 3, and the light guide plate 3 includes a frame part 3a for holding the insulating substrate 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
