PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a steering mechanism during static steering. SOLUTION: In a vehicle control device 200, in-wheel motors 20 supply vibration to tires. When wheels 14 are steered when the vehicle 10 is in a stop, an integrated ECU 100 and HV-ECU 60 control the in-wheel motors 20 so as to supply vibration to the tires on the wheels 14 to be steered and thereby vary the frictional force between the tires on the wheels 14 to be steered and a road surface. A mode change switch 36 is inputted with a steering command for the vehicles 14 by a user. When a steering command is inputted by a user, the integrated ECU 100 and the HV-ECU 60 control the in-wheel motors 20 so as to supply vibration to the tires on the wheels 14 to be steered.
