PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a destination and guide thereto, even if detailed information on the destination is unknown. SOLUTION: A device includes a proposed site information storage part 20 for storing correlatively a genre of a proposed site, an area including the proposed site, and position information of the proposed site; a destination area input part 232; a destination genre input part 232; a passing spot genre setting part 232 for setting two or more passing spot genres passable on a route from a starting place to the destination in the passing order on the route from the starting place to the destination; and destination candidate retrieval part 31 for retrieving one or more candidates included in the area inputted by the destination area input part 232 and pertinent to the genres inputted by the destination genre input part 232 as destination candidates from the proposed site information storage part 20, based on a position relation from the starting place to the destination of each passing spot equivalent to two or more genres set by the passing spot genre setting part 232.
