PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily perform FM detection, even if the frequency of a first sound intermediate-frequency signal is deviated. SOLUTION: Concerning the first sound intermediate-frequency signal, a signal component near its center frequency is extracted by the first bandpass filter 10, and then is down-converted into a second sound intermediate-frequency signal by a mixer 12. Concerning the second sound intermediate-frequency signal, signal components near its center frequency and those lower than the center frequency are extracted by a low-pass filter.
