PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve gear of an engine capable of suppressing incorrect motion of a valve in a case where the oscillation accelerating speed of an oscillating cam increases. SOLUTION: This valve gear of an engine is equipped with: the oscillating cam 10; a drive cam part 11 provided to the oscillating cam 10; a lift regulating cam part 12 provided to the oscillating cam 10; an oscillating arm 40 swingably supported by a supporting part 3, a tip end 43 abutting on a stem end 2a of a valve 2, for opening and closing the valve 2 by being oscillated by the drive cam part 11; and a regulating part 42 provided to the oscillating arm 40 for regulating the oscillating range of the oscillating arm 40 by abutting on the lift regulating cam part 12.
