PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide connection hardware capable of realizing a reduction in construction cost by reducing the amount of operations at site without lowering a member transporting efficiency in constructing a wooden building. SOLUTION: This connection hardware 11 comprises a fitting plate 12 brought into contact with the side surface of a first member F to tighten the first member F to a second member S and an insertion plate 13 fitted into the groove 41 of the second member S. The length of the hardware between a contact surface 18 where the fitting plate 12 abuts on the first member F and the end of the insertion plate 13 is limited to 40 to 68 mm. Since the connection hardware is reduced in size, the transportation efficiency is kept unchanged even when the connection hardware 11 is fitted to the first member F in a plant and transported into the site by a truck, and the operations for mounting the connection hardware 11 at the site can be halved. Consequently, the construction cost can be reduced, and the strength of the hardware can also be maintained by increasing the number of fixing pins 25 in use. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
