PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a support device under a floor through an opening formed in a floor plate without changing the floor plate, support the floor plate at a proper height by the support device, and reinforce the floor plate. SOLUTION: This support device 1 for the floor plate 2 comprises a pedestal 11 formed by extending three arms 11b for supporting the floor plate 2 from the upper periphery of a cylindrical body 11a in which a screw groove is peripherally formed to the side at equal intervals and a support bolt 12 threadable to the cylindrical body 11a, having a recess 12a for engaging a rotary tool at the top, and having a flange part 12b joined to a floor base surface 3 integrally formed at the bottom part.
