The spectrometer has halogen lamps (1) strung in a line in defined distances and transverse to a material or object stream. Light receiving optics (3, 4) alternate to the halogen lamps are arranged such that an optic axis of the light receiving optics lies in a symmetrical plane of a light radiation (8). The optics have a light guiding cable that is arranged between the halogen lamps. The material or object stream runs through an one-dimensional focus of an elliptical cylindrical mirror (2) and the optic axis runs perpendicular to the focus, such that the focus is aligned to the stream. An independent claim is also included for a method for spectrum-analysis evaluation of raw material or objects.
