The proposed current shunt resistor can be used in electric power meters. The shunt resistor contains two tubular tips with slots. Between the tops, an insert is arranged, which is made of high-resistance material. Each tip contains a pressed ring with a threaded hole. The strength of the ring material exceeds the strength of the tip material. The proposed current shunt resistor is distinctive by its simple design and enhanced reliability in contention with elements of electrical equipment.
