<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide convenience of a user and to secure security in managing entering and leaving of a person in a management area and entering and leaving a living room in the management area. <P>SOLUTION: The entrance/location management system comprises: a principal authentication device installed at an entrance to an area to be managed; a stream of people detector and human tracking device installed in a corridor and the like; an entrance management device installed in a living room and the like; and a system management device for managing centralized detection results from each of the devices. The system management device collects event information from the respective devices and calculates probability of presence of a system user at an arbitrary time of day and arbitrary point in the management area. At the entrance of the management area, ID authentication for presenting an IC card is performed by the principal authentication device and in managing the entrance, the entrance management device performs complex authentication according to face identification and the probability of presence to secure authentication precision, and convenience of the user is aimed at. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
