<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display, having a reflecting part attaining both a bright display in the reflection part and superior display image quality by achieving an increase in a reflection light amount, while suppressing increase in the parasitic capacitance. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid display device 10, having the reflection part has an insulator layer (inter-layer film) 21, having uneveness structures respectively of regions, surrounded by a plurality of scanning lines 15 and signal lines 19 arranged in a matrix form; and the reflecting part 26, forming a reflecting layer 24 and a pixel electrode 25 provided on the insulator layer having uneveness structures. The uneven structure 22<SB>1</SB>on the signal line 17 is provided so that a recess structure crossing the signal line does not exist, and the reflecting layer 24 and the pixel electrode 25 are provided so as to be overlapped on a part of the signal line 19, when seen in a plan view. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
