PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent overlooking of interested scenes. SOLUTION: When a user moves a mouse pointer P on a timer button 82 through mouse operations and clicks it, a channel timer function is on and the time count of a timer is started. The remaining time of the timer displayed on a timer display unit 83 is decreased by one second with passing time. When the remaining time of the timer becomes zero second, a channel on air is received when the channel timer function is set on, and in addition, a program video of a channel on air is displayed on a video display unit 52 when the channel timer function is set on.
