PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink that is excellent in manufacturing workability and heat dissipation characteristic. SOLUTION: In this heat sink, many thin plate-like fins 3 are erected in parallel with each other on a base section. To each of the upper end sections and the lower end sections of the fins 3, a bending piece 12, which is almost rectangularly bended and is abutted on the adjacent fins 3, is formed. A protrusion 13 is formed on the front end of the bending piece 12. A recess 14, which fits and connects the protrusion 13 in the adjacent fins 3, is formed at the base end of the bending piece 12. Each of the upper end sections and the lower end sections of the fins 3 arranged in parallel with each other, is connected by the protrusion 13 and the recess 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
