PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner which has superior fixability, high-temperature offset resistance, and blocking resistance and also has superior developing property. SOLUTION: The toner contains binding resin and a coloring agent, and the binding resin contains a of≥50 mass%, and hybrid resin in which the polyester unit is chemically bonded to a vinyl-based copolymer unit, wherein the polyester unit contains unsaturated polyester having an unsaturated group at a molecule terminal. The toner contains 3 to 50 mass% a resin component which is insoluble in tetrahydrofuran (THF), wherein the resin component which is insoluble in the THT contains hybrid resin. A GPC molecular weight distribution of THF-insoluble vinyl-based copolymer units obtained as a residue of hydrolysis of polyester units contained in the resin component insoluble in the THF has a main peak within a range of 50,000 to 500,000 mol.wt.
