PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar system capable of measuring the target position with high accuracy, even over a wide dynamic range of reflected light. SOLUTION: A radar system has a light-projecting part for generating a laser light, the first photoreception part for converting an incident light into a signal, and an optical system for forming the laser lights generated in the projecting part, into a beam to be emitted along a survey direction, and for receiving the reflected light from the survey direction to be guided to the photoreception part. A MEMS mirror device is used in the optical system, and one or plurality of photodiodes is embedded inside a MEMS mirror. The second light-receiving part is constituted of the photodiode to have a sensitivity area for the reflected light of luminance higher than that of the first light-receiving part, and a composition part is provided to output in composite manner the output signal from the first photoreception part and the output signal from the second photoreception part.
