PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a panel discharge current strays in frame metal fittings or the like to increase noise disturbance and EMI to a screen. SOLUTION: An X electrode driving circuit and a Y electrode driving circuit are mounted on one substrate to prevent the discharge current from straying outside a common reference potential. A metallic foil is stuck to a rear glass plate, and a feedback current of the discharge current in a panel is caused to flow to the metallic foil closely, whereby a leakage magnetic flux generated by the current is reduced to reduce EMI.
