The device has a built in panel and an affiliated carrier partly covered with a body of the vehicle body. The carrier is a loop to which objects can be attached. Between the cover and the body is an airbag. The carrier body (5) before its attachment to the body has an appropriate aperture (6) to cover the carrier body (5). The carrier body (5) is stiff and the aperture protects forces before the airbag is deployed (10). The carrier body (5) has a closed contour. The carrier body (5) is produced by forming and welding a flat material.
