This invention provides an optical laminate that can simultaneously realize both antifouling properties and slipperiness in a low-refractive index layer provided on a light-transparent base material. The optical laminate comprises a light-transparent base material and a hardcoat layer and a low-refractive index layer provided in that order on the light-transparent base material. The low-refractive index layer comprises an antifouling agent and/or slipperiness-imparting agent. The antifouling agent and/or the slipperiness-imparting agent are added so that the concentration thereof varies at grade from the hardcoat layer to the surface of the low-refractive index layer.
