Vorontzov device comprises a high-voltage dc power supply of negative polarity to which needle electrode is connected by means of high voltage flexible insulated wire. The electrode comprises one or N needles and made as a tip with dielectric body. The needle electrode is arranged inside insulated electrically conductive screen. Electrical or mechanical switch is arranged in the dielectric body of the tip. It is in series connected to the needle electrode and high-voltage flexible insulated wire.
