A method for protection of pump liquid end against destructive effect of highly mineralized medium includes surface cleaning, application of polymer coating. One performs modification of surface - applies intermediate layer, as such one uses liquids not including solvents, low-viscosity compositions, and then one applies main working layer on basis of high-filled epoxy-rubber compositions with filling agent - silicon carbide, molybdenum disulfide, with curing during 3-7 days. The process of application of intermediate and working layers one performs in hermetic vessel under pressure. The method makes it possible to increase physical-mechanical properties of coating layer on flow-through sections of pumps.
