A hatch of inspection pit has a body with seat site, a cover and locking unit with mechanism of cover fixation to the body. The mechanism of the cover and body fixation is arranged as rotary catch in opening of which shutoff unit as bolt with restriction ring is installed. At that the bolt at opposite side is equipped with safety and stopper nuts, and rotary catch with U-shaped plate with threading.
