<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel cell excellent in corrosion resistance and with durability improved. <P>SOLUTION: In manufacturing the separator for a fuel cell, a peripheral edge surface of an SUS-made separator base material 20 except a gas flow channel is put under cathode electrolysis treatment in alkali solution, through which an iron hydrate oxide film 24 is formed on a passive film 22 of the SUS-made separator base material 20 that is the peripheral edge surface of the SUS-made separator base material 20, and further, a water-soluble electrodeposition resin layer 26 is formed on the iron hydrate oxide film 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
