<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device and a display device, capable of attaining both the improvement in light directivity and heightening of definition. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system comprises light sources 11, and an optical sheet 13 for controlling light from the light sources 11. The optical sheet 13 is provided with a base material 130, a transparent resin layer 131 formed on the base material 130, a plurality of microlens structural bodies 233 adhered to the transparent resin layer 131 for aligning irradiation directions of light incident from the light sources 11, and a reflecting layer 132, arranged among the plurality of micro lens structural bodies 233 for reflecting visible light by 80% or higher out of light incident from the light sources 11. Then, the light incident from the light sources 11 transmits through a region, in the reflecting layer that includes a part where the transparent resin layer 131 and the microlens structural bodies 233 contact each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
