摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having a black matrix constituted of a metallic film, which maintains high reliability by preventing disconnection of terminal parts and current leakage due to electric corrosion and is capable of reducing a panel peripheral part.

SOLUTION: A slit part 11 is disposed within a surface of a peripheral part black matrix 3 of a region on the side of an interface region IFR out of a region corresponding to a panel peripheral region PR of a color filter substrate 1. The slit part 11 is disposed more inside than a sealant 4 so as to extend along a side (lower side) on the side of the interface region IFR of a display part DP. The slit part 11 has three slits 111 arranged at equal intervals in parallel with the lower side of the display part and has a plurality slits 112 arranged in parallel so as to cross the three slits 111.
