<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector easily and quickly connectable to a corrugated conduit without depending on a special device. <P>SOLUTION: The connector (10) forming a fluid seal to the corrugated conduit (19) having axially spaced annular recesses (20) on the outer surface comprises a plurality of sockets (12) and at least one sealing ring (11). Each socket further comprises an annular protuberance (18) extending inwardly. To form a reliable seal, the sealing ring is first inserted into each socket. The corrugated conduit (19) is then inserted into each socket so that the annular protuberance on each socket spans at least one of the plurality of annular recesses on the corrugated conduit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
