PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the power input section of a generator for transmitting engine output to the rotor shaft with no loss in which two shafts being coupled can be aligned easily. SOLUTION: A cylindrical bracket 21 is fitted over one end 20a of a rotor shaft 20, and any one of the flange portion 41 of an input shaft 40 having a flange portion 41 formed at one end 40a or the flywheel 62 of an engine 60 can be fixed selectively to the end face 21a on the side opposite to the rotor 3 side of the bracket 21. A means (a protrusion 22 and a recess 42) for regulating the bonding position of the flange portion 41 to the end face 21a of the bracket 21 is provided such that the axis of the rotor shaft 20 is aligned with the axis of the input shaft 40 when the flange portion portion 41 is fixed to the bracket 21, and the bracket 21 and the flange portion 41 are coupled at a plurality of positions of the joint by means of a coupling rods and bonded.
