PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device used for various electronic devices, capable of performing excellent opening/closing operation by a simple constitution reduced in impact. SOLUTION: Both ends of a spring member 6 formed of an approximately cylindrical case 7 and a working shaft 8 stored in the case 7 and energized outward by a spring 9 are mounted between a movable body 2 and a fixed body 1, and a shock absorbing means is provided on the outer periphery of the working shaft 8. The reversing force of the spring 9 in opening/closing operation is thereby relieved to reduce an impact and an impulsive sound, thus providing the opening/closing device capable of performing excellent opening/closing operation by a simple constitution reduced in impact.
