PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small highly stable piezoelectric oscillator capable of accurately stabilizing a temperature of a crystal oscillator, and achieving low power consumption. SOLUTION: A heating supply body 8 is arranged close to a lead line 3 of the crystal oscillator 4 inserted in a circuit board 5. A temperature controlling element 7 is arranged so as to contact the lead line 3 composed as a ground line of the crystal oscillator 4. Accordingly, since a heat conduction path has a structure of conducting to a crystal oscillation piece 1 from the heating supply body 8 through the lead line 3 of the crystal oscillator 4, a ratio of heat quantity transmitted to the crystal oscillation piece after starting the highly stable crystal oscillator 10 becomes greater in comparison with a conventional structure in which a heat-conducting plate is arranged in the heat conduction path. Thus, after the highly stable crystal oscillator 10 is started, the temperature of the crystal oscillator 4 in which a characteristic such as a frequency is changed due to temperature change can be accurately stabilized in a short period of time.
